Pursuing a BA/BSc or MA/MSc degree and entering penultimate year of university (Bachelor or Master’s program)
Currently enrolled in an accredited program and on track to graduate in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027
Excellent academic record (indicate honours level on resume; transcript may be requested)
Applicable coursework or previous internship in investments or financial markets
Excellent work ethic and high degree of professionalism
Commitment to a team and goal-oriented environment
Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamically changing environment

Responsibilities

Participate in a 10-week internship program to gain understanding of Sixth Street’s investing strategies
Acquire training and develop understanding of financial products, underwriting, modeling, and accounting
Gain hands-on work experience representative of the Analyst Program across geographies and asset classes (debt and equity)
Perform in-depth industry research to support investment evaluation
Get exposure to senior management and network of alternative asset management leaders
Conduct due diligence on investment opportunities, including in-depth company and industry analysis (valuation, financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, DCF, comparable analysis)
Develop and maintain financial models (Excel), forecasting and analyzing cash flow, capital structure, acquisition/disposition strategy for existing assets and new investments
Prepare investment memoranda supporting financial analysis, market conditions (macro and micro), strategy, and investment returns
