Requirements

  • Strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, controls, or robotics engineering
  • Skills in motion systems, PLCs, kinematics, and mechatronics
  • Ability to apply project management principles

  • Ability to work hybrid (report in office three times per week at minimum)

  • Deliver compelling technical reports and presentations to influence stakeholders and shape strategic direction
  • Generate high-value intellectual property through invention disclosures to secure GM’s leadership in advanced manufacturing
  • Create new methodologies to push boundaries in industrial research and development
  • Model the future through advanced simulations and mathematical frameworks to accelerate technology deployment
  • Leverage cutting-edge tools and techniques to validate concepts and fuel continuous innovation
  • Lead and collaborate globally with technical teams to foster excellence and shared success
  • Deliver results with autonomy and integrity on technical assignments contributing to GM’s mission
  • Explore emerging trends and technologies shaping the future of manufacturing
  • Represent GM at global conferences and industry forums
