  • Ability to perform industry research to identify new programs and industry partners
  • Skills in working with cross-functional teams using engineering and project management abilities
  • Capability to identify short-term and long-term opportunities within Walmart’s End-to-End (E2E) Supply Chain
  • Experience or interest in managing vendor relationships and program portfolios throughout the full product lifecycle, including research & development

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and improve engineered solutions in Supply Chain Operations (Ambient or Grocery networks)
  • Use a process-driven and methodical mindset (or qualitative-driven and zero-loss mindset) to improve processes, reduce friction, and enhance quality in Distribution, Fulfillment, or Consolidation Centers
  • Deliver expected functional area results through analysis and creating standard work practices
  • Identify opportunities, propose solutions, design systems, and demonstrate financial impact
  • Lead savings projects to increase capacity, improve associate friendliness, and support grocery distribution centers (for Grocery network)
  • Provide input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams on project ideation and replication opportunities (for Ambient network)
  • Work on an impactful individual project aligned to skillsets and interests during the 11-week internship program
