2026 Intern - Mechanical Engineer at Westlake

Candidates must have completed their second year of college, be majoring in Mechanical Engineering, have a 3.0 or higher GPA, and be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

The internship is based at Westlake's PEM plant locations in the United States, including Lake Charles, LA; Plaquemine, LA; Geismar, LA; Longview, TX; Natrium, WV; Deer Park, TX; and Calvert City, KY.

Interns work on assigned projects under close supervision, observe department activities, assist with day-to-day tasks, participate in safety/environmental programs, maintain a work journal, and present to the management team.
