Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related human services field; OR
Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field with two years of related work experience; OR
Any combination of four years of higher education and relevant work experience; OR
Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support; OR
Four years of qualifying experience working with individuals with mental health disorders, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities
Must complete a successful background check including criminal record and driving record
Current driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Must have reliable transportation to transport clients
Physical ability for sedentary work: exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, sitting most of the time with occasional walking or standing

Responsibilities

Provide community-based mental health services through assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention implementation
Collaborate with clients, families, and stakeholders to craft and execute individualized treatment plans
Utilize a strengths-based approach that emphasizes empowerment and skill-building, and incorporate evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Coordinate care effectively with service providers, including primary care physicians and community organizations
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress to ensure compliance with policies
Participate in staff development activities and contribute to the organization's quality improvement initiatives
Prepare for and facilitate PSR group sessions pertinent to client treatment goals
