Requirements
- Meet MVR requirements
- Must be able to drive 18 Wheelers on the yard
- Must be 18 years of age
- Have a current valid state issued driver’s license
- No DUI/DWI conviction within the past 12 months
- Fewer than 4 points based on evaluation system
- Proficiency in reading and writing
- Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork
- Ability to effectively communicate across all management levels
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
Responsibilities
- Operate trucks and move trailers in and out of loading areas
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
- Use all safety devices such as dock locks, wheel chocks, jack stands, and salvo locks
- Ensure trailers are sealed
- Perform routine temperature checks of trailers
- Follow all safety rules
- Work well with others
