Requirements

  • Meet MVR requirements
  • Must be able to drive 18 Wheelers on the yard
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Have a current valid state issued driver’s license
  • No DUI/DWI conviction within the past 12 months
  • Fewer than 4 points based on evaluation system
  • Proficiency in reading and writing
  • Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all management levels
  • Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

  • Operate trucks and move trailers in and out of loading areas
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
  • Use all safety devices such as dock locks, wheel chocks, jack stands, and salvo locks
  • Ensure trailers are sealed
  • Perform routine temperature checks of trailers
  • Follow all safety rules
  • Work well with others
