The Workday Financials Procure to Pay Senior Principal Consultant – Global Application Managed Services (AMS) is a dynamic and experienced professional familiar with the managed services construct. This role requires a post-production expert with functional skills, the ability to maintain business context, and a strong work ethic. Requirements
- Certification: Workday Procure to Pay certification is mandatory.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of Corporate Applications portfolio experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in client-facing roles handling managed services in a global delivery model.
- Workday Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Workday Integrations and Workday Financials.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent experience.
- Skills:
- Expert level understanding of Workday Financials domain.
- Ability to multitask and perform a variety of duties.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to go the extra mile to solve customer problems.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to solve complex incidents and provide suggestions/best practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead FINS Workstream: Onshore lead who leads the Workday Financials (FINS) workstream for assigned accounts.
- AMS Methodologies: Apply and execute various AMS methodologies and activities in Workday FINS engagements.
- Team Collaboration: Collaboratively work with the Offshore team on day-to-day activities, incidents, root cause analysis, and other work requests.
- On-Call Support: Provide on-call support and holiday coverage as required.
- SLA Management: Deep knowledge in SLA constructs and adherence.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders to create high-business impact solutions.
- Operational Efficiency: Contribute to the operational efficiency of the Workday practice.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Proactively identify and develop reporting dashboards to improve Workday utilization and support metrics.
- Issue Resolution: Work with clients to identify and resolve issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframe.
- System Maintenance: Ensures system design fits the needs of the user, maintain the Workday platform with a focus on reporting, business process maintenance, security administration, data loads, and data audits.
- Project Management: Comfortable with leading multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Vendor & Team Communication: Drive continual business process improvements throughout the organization, Lead a team of Workday consultants across multiple engagements, and ensure team deliverables are delivered on time with timely reminders to vendors and the project team.
