Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 9 months of post high school experience utilizing administrative procedures and office equipment (Asst Assoc); 3 years (Assistant); 6 years (Senior)
  • Organizational and analytic/problem solving skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computers and computer programs (Assistant and Senior)
  • Must be available for overtime when needed (all levels)
  • Must reside within 25 miles of onsite work location (all levels)
  • Occasional travel may be required (Asst Assoc and Assistant); Travel expected 10-25% (Senior)
  • Must be available to work overtime, call out overtime and shift work (Assistant)
  • Basic knowledge of distribution operations and other departments within the AEP system preferred (Senior)

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties in the work scheduling process, including assigning jobs to line servicer personnel using management system applications
  • Develop schedules for line servicer and technician appointments
  • Communicate with customers and direct inquiries
  • Support adherence to standard work scheduling policies and procedures
  • Assist with outage management as needed
  • Provide administrative support as needed
