Job Description: Licensed Therapist (1099)

Position Overview

Mantra Health is seeking an independently Licensed 1099 Therapist to provide virtual therapy services to college students across the United States. This is a fully remote position dedicated to revolutionizing student mental health care by providing universal access to high-quality mental health services.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking independently licensed therapists who are passionate about making mental health care accessible and affordable for students. Compensation

• Intake Session (60-minute): $81 per session
• Follow-up Session (45-minute): $61 per session
• No-Show Appointments: $30 per appointment
• Training/Meetings: $60 per hour for monthly therapy training and all-hands meetings

Responsibilities

As a Mantra Licensed Therapist, you will:

• Deliver high-quality, virtual therapy using evidence-based interventions (e.g., MI, CBT, DBT).
• Utilize our advanced collaboration portal to connect with and support students.
• Collaborate with campus treatment providers, supervisors, and peers for cohesive care.
• Maintain timely and accurate records of all clinical interactions.
• Partner with the support team to enhance overall student care.
• Collaborate with leadership during critical patient scenarios.
• Become an expert in our unique care model to effectively support college students.

Schedule & Employment Details

• Employment Type: 1099 Contract Position
• Location Type: Fully Remote (within the US)
• Start Date: Flexible
• Schedule: Choose your set schedule:
  • Weekday Shifts: Anytime between 9:00 AM to Midnight Eastern Time
  • Weekend Shifts: Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Eastern Time
• Commitment: Minimum 8 hours per week requested, with the ability to flex based on student volumes. Summer hours are available but not required.

Requirements

• Active independent clinical licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, etc.).
• Multi-state licensure is an advantage.
• Ability to conduct thorough biopsychosocial intakes and clear diagnostic assessments.
• Skill in developing appropriate treatment plans based on conceptual insights.
• Adept at treating a diverse cohort of students with respect.
