Requirements

Expert-level understanding of IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) and wireless networking protocols
Advanced Linux kernel networking and driver development
Experience in embedded systems architecture
Design, develop and testing of Wi-Fi software feature for Wi-Fi gateway/extender product
Experience with Wi-Fi performance testing tools and methodologies & network analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark)
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (a plus)

Responsibilities

Validate product quality by analyzing and testing the code base
Develop and maintain code for automated testing
Evaluate new frameworks for automation solutions
Develop test strategies and design test automation best practices
Partner with software engineers to write efficient automation code
Represent test automation team’s frameworks and methodologies
Repair complex broken automation scripts and resolve coding bugs
Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex systems problems
Plans and leads team projects
Works across multiple project teams to ensure common practices
Acts as a subject matter expert
Mentoring and technical guidance for junior engineers
Strategic technology roadmap planning
Provide technical assistance to teams to troubleshoot Customer Wi-Fi issues
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Wi-Fi features
Analyze test results, identify defects, and track them through the bug tracking system (e.g., Jira)
Collaborate with developers and triage engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Contribute to the improvement of QE processes and best practices
