Responsibilities

  • Learn about business processes and the investment management industry to identify and manage potential regulatory risks
  • Implement measures to mitigate risks, such as creating and updating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Interact with stakeholders (business owners, management, and regulators), advise on compliance matters, communicate policies effectively, provide training programs, and raise awareness about compliance and ethical behaviour
  • Support audits to identify compliance issues and address them promptly
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and regulatory bodies (BaFin, Bundesbank, Bank of Italy, Consob, and CNMV)
  • Report on the effectiveness of compliance controls
