Requirements

Associate Degree in welding or have completed a welding apprenticeship
Minimum 1 year experience in fabrication and welding. Structural experience and certification preferred
Valid Colorado driver’s license
OSHA 10 certification (required)
Equipment certifications (as required)
Competent in manipulating numbers, quantities, shapes, and spaces
Able to take precise measurements and calculate necessary dimensions
Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision and manage time effectively
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
Ability to climb, walk, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and make repetitive motions
Ability to constantly exert forces up to 50 pounds and frequently exert forces up to 100 pounds
Ability to work in inside, outside, and adverse environmental conditions with elevated noise levels and physical hazards
Demonstrate proficiency through testing
Eligible to work in the USA

Responsibilities

Read prints, plan work, procedures, and techniques
Obtain and move materials, tools, and equipment
Operate all equipment needed to complete the job
Direct others in conditioning and preparation
Observe lockout procedures
Perform routine maintenance and assist Maintenance personnel
Obtain and maintain OSHA 10 and equipment certifications, as required
Perform additional tasks as assigned
Provide necessary support to all areas of the mill in a safe manner
