K Health is seeking full-time Physicians to deliver fully remote, text and video-based, on-demand acute care for their Virtual Comprehensive Care Clinics. These clinics are designed to close care gaps and expand access to care in partnership with top-rated hospital systems. The role involves providing extended and after-hours care, supported by K Health's Clinical AI Platform and a dedicated team of Care Concierge, Clinical Operations, and technical support staff.
Requirements
- 3+ years of post-residency work experience
- Active IA, MN, and WI state medical licenses (IMLC preferred)
- Board-Certified in Family Medicine
- Acute care experience
- Tech-savvy, proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and have telemedicine experience
- Clean background and medical malpractice history
- Willing to work weekend hours, 36 per week (7a-7p Sat & Sun, +1 weekday)
- Comfortable treating pediatrics and behavioral health patients
Responsibilities
- Work regular weekend day shifts (7a-7p Sat & Sun, +1 weekday)
- Provide text-based and video-based, comprehensive clinical care encompassing Acute Care
- Treat patients on demand within an acute care virtual setting
- Educate patients on appropriate treatments and care plans
- Prescribe medication and refills as appropriate
- Drive high-quality care with a focus on patient outcomes
- Elevate remote care by providing compassionate and meaningful care
