Interest in weapon systems engineering, specifically in Network Communications or Weapon Systems Algorithms & Performance

Responsibilities

Developing datalink systems to communicate between platforms and missiles (NC)
Working with communication and networking technologies and techniques (NC)
Planning and conducting tests in the Comms and Cyber Lab (NC)
Designing Network Enabled Weapons and influencing key concept and strategy decisions (NC)
Developing networks that support weapon systems in the battlespace (NC)
Helping with future developments in technology and systems (NC)
Engaging with stakeholders, including suppliers and external MBDA customers (NC)
Planning, modelling and adapting missile routes to optimise weapon effectiveness (WSAP)
Automating weapon mission planning using machine learning techniques to simplify operator decisions (WSAP)
Developing algorithms for autonomous behaviours and decision-making capabilities (WSAP)
Delivering core products such as Target Modelling, Weapon Planning, and Launcher Interfaces into MBDA programmes (WSAP)
Utilising latest technological advancements for effective, secure, and intelligent weapon systems (WSAP)
Developing launcher sub-systems for tactical strike missile systems (WSAP)
Requirement definition, design evolution, qualification, and project management of communication systems, sub-systems, and technologies (NC)
