Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Electronics with Communications, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science (minimum 2.2)
  • British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
  • Able to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Systems Engineering and Network Communications expertise to Complex Weapons Projects
  • Work in areas such as Networked Weapons, Platform to Missile Communications, Battlefield Communications, or Missile-to-Missile Communications
  • Support delivery of secure communication systems into MBDA Weapon Systems across the whole Project Life Cycle
  • Engage in a combination of independent and team working
  • Participate in customer meetings and visits to other offices
  • Contribute to major defence programmes and internal research and development studies
