Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent or 3 years of work experience
  • Experience is not required but is preferred
  • Basic computer skills are preferred but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Some travel may be required to attend training classes
  • Motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn and the ability to lead others
  • Resume required to be considered for this role
  • Willing to work Shift B: Wednesday (1:00PM - 7:30PM); Thursday, Friday & Saturday (7:00AM - 7:30 PM), and additional hours/days if deemed necessary by management

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervises Warehouse Department employees
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
  • Training employees
  • Planning, assigning, and directing work
  • Scheduling and managing overtime
  • Appraising performance
  • Disciplining employees
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Keep all aspects of inventory accurate (whether receiving off the floor or from outside vendors)
  • Manage housekeeping in dock area
  • Ensuring that all product quality and safety processes are being followed consistently
  • Promoting a safe work environment
  • Following all safety and policy procedures as set forth by Tyson Foods
  • Performing other responsibilities as needed
