Requirements

Demonstrate proficiency in all warehouse functions and processes
Ensure compliance with standard procedures on a daily basis
Maintain the layout and organization of all warehouse spaces
Promote a safe workplace
Familiarity with Warehouse Management System (WMS) for compliance from receipt through putaway to storage
Ability to adapt plans and communicate effectively ad hoc changes or directives not outlined in SOPs
Knowledge of all trackers and inventory items to verify production needs
Ability to stay abreast of emails and communications directing changes to products for production

Responsibilities

Oversee the warehouse team for the shift, ensuring tasks are executed properly and safely
Anticipate and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Manage the performance of warehouse leads and associates with little guidance, collaborating with stakeholders as needed
Monitor receiving activities with leads, receivers, and associates to ensure accuracy, product integrity, and dock maintenance meet company standards
Escalate issues with facility spaces or powered industrial trucks to the Maintenance team via established reporting systems
Ensure all receiving processes are completed in accordance with SOPs
Communicate variances or issues immediately to the team and stakeholders, establish follow-up timelines for root cause analysis, and conduct retraining as needed
Conduct audits of receiving and putaway processes to ensure accuracy and compliance, providing immediate feedback for growth and development
Assess efficiency of receiving activities and work with receivers and putaway team to improve workflow
Ensure full utilization of WMS for product moves to and from the production/shipping floor
Provide guidance to team on correct product based on production needs
Communicate changes to products required for production (due to shorts, delays, or quality issues) to the warehouse team in a timely manner
Ensure warehouse drop list is utilized to pull product for the production floor
Ensure product is placed in the designated areas
