Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D
  • Two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience sorting in the logistics and distribution industry desired
  • Forklift experience a plus
  • Highly organized and detail oriented

Responsibilities

  • Sorts and prepares packages for delivery to their correct destinations
  • Assists in loading and unloading packages in and out of delivery vehicles
  • Works independently or as part of a team to meet specific deadlines
  • Keeps inventory records up to date
  • Assists with auditing sorted product
  • Wrapping, staging, and loading linehauls
  • Assisting with the sort process of all/new accounts arriving on dock
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times
  • Ensures the timely and efficient flow of all packages and documents through the warehouse
  • Other duties as assigned
