Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
1-3 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment
Forklift operation experience preferred (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck)
Knowledge of warehouse processes like receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping
Familiarity with inventory systems (RF scanners, WMS, or ERP software is a plus)
Basic computer skills
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and seek solutions
Positive attitude & pleasant personality; effective memory skills; good hand-eye coordination
Dependability, ability to follow directions & strong willingness to learn
Complete a background check and pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

Operate power equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, load, unload, pick, and count merchandise safely and efficiently
Store incoming merchandise on racking systems
Pull products from the warehouse for shipment to fill customer orders
Stage ingredients in kitchen drop locations, hook up new totes, and deliver packaging material to drop locations on production lines
Unload bulk ingredient tankers into ingredient silos safely
Build, adjust, and secure pallets for safe transportation
Pick products from warehouse racks accurately in a fast-paced environment, reading purchase orders and sales orders
Utilize handheld scanning device or written documents to locate products and fill customer orders
Ensure accurate inventory of goods and convey completed orders to designated areas
Initiate action for damaged or defective goods received
Verify items pulled against documents for accuracy
Transport palletized merchandise from receiving to staging areas and to freight trucks or loading docks
Receive and store raw materials in designated locations
Receive raw ingredient tankers per GMP, quality, and food defense standards, and unload into bulk silos
Move and store empty pallets, stack them, and sweep aisles to maintain clean and safe environment
Take advantage of opportunity charging for power equipment
Perform daily inspections of powered industrial trucks and submit reports
Mentor and influence new warehouse personnel on proper operation of powered industrial trucks
Operate powered industrial trucks per manufacturer’s instructions and company safety rules
Collaborate with all warehouse departments (Shipping, receiving, finished goods, and raw material intake) for seamless operations
