Ability to perform physical labor up to 50% of the time
Responsibilities
Assist with general labor in the warehouse under the supervision of a Warehouse Supervisor
Use machines, tools, and physical labor to assist in loading and unloading shipments, maintenance, repairs, and sorting
Assemble equipment and materials needed to begin and complete work projects
Maintain warehouse equipment
Load and unload deliveries both manually and with heavy equipment (e.g., yellow iron)
Perform tasks related to housekeeping, organizing, storing, and transitioning of industrial matter and inventory
Assure deadlines are adhered to and met
Provide required reports and other information as requested
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, front end loaders, heavy trucks, and other heavy machinery to lift, roll, haul, load, and unload materials and equipment, move soil, gravel, snow, construction supplies, and other materials
Prepare, update, and maintain logs, records, and equipment maintenance schedules
Monitor equipment operation and identify malfunctions
Inspect, adjust, and perform minor equipment repairs
Prepare and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
Clean, store, and maintain equipment as required
Maintain machines, tools, and equipment
Load and transport work in progress
Clean work areas
Assist the Warehouse Supervisor as needed
Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent
