Requirements

Responsibilities

  • With supervision, prepare outgoing shipments (domestic and overseas) to meet customer, carrier, and company specifications
  • Process required paperwork and data processing for all domestic and overseas customer shipments
  • Accurately perform cycle counts of packaged product utilizing the RF Scanner, including going to rack locations to count parts on pallets (may use Raymond forklift)
  • Consolidate downloads and build skids for most cost-effective routing; change paperwork and system data as necessary; ensure special skids are used; split cartons, relabel, re-pack, include bits, label with job number and parts per skid; contact carrier for special routing pickups
  • Re-label shipment address to match Bill of Lading; initiate pool points to ensure accuracy and expedite shipping
  • Request certifications when required and ensure they are attached to shipments
  • Enter shipping information and instructions for air freight shipments
  • Perform daily system and paperwork updates, adjust dates for carrier pickup schedules; enter charges before invoicing; load and close freight for proper invoicing
  • Ensure proper relocation of parts after splitting cartons; pull samples for Sales and Quality Assurance and adjust inventory; ensure proper lot control (FIFO) when pulling shipments
  • File downloads into proper dated files for timely shipment preparation; print PSCAN report when necessary
  • Perform duties as requested by Supervisor or Lead person
  • Be available to work overtime as needed
