Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; an advanced degree (e.g., M.S., MBA) is preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or cloud/SaaS operations
  • 7+ years in an executive leadership role (VP or SVP level) managing global, complex organizations
  • Deep familiarity with the design, architecture, tradeoffs, and processes involved in deploying, running, and operating complex scalable SaaS Platforms (e.g., built on Kubernetes, service mesh, state-of-the-art observability and security stacks, custom in-memory object management system)
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role supporting high-assurance, compliance-driven environments, particularly within the U.S. Federal Government sector (e.g., FedRAMP Moderate/High, IL4/5, Top Secret)
  • Proven track record of building and leading teams responsible for infrastructure architecture, platform reliability, automation, cloud operations, and service delivery within highly regulated security compliance boundaries
  • Experience with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies
  • Deep Government expertise combined with engineering depth
  • Ability to engage deeply with key customer leadership stakeholders and internal teams on design, architecture, security, and compliance
  • Ability to engage with cross-functional leadership teams
  • Experience transforming strategic initiatives into high-velocity, auditable processes to meet critical go-live dates
  • Demonstrated history of delivering mission-critical platforms within extreme timelines
  • Thrives under pressure

Responsibilities

  • Lead the building, operating, and evolving of a multi-tenant SaaS platform for highly regulated clouds (e.g., FedRAMP Moderate/High, IL4/5, Top Secret)
  • Transform strategic initiatives into high-velocity, auditable processes to meet critical go-live dates
  • Build and lead teams responsible for infrastructure architecture, platform reliability, automation, cloud operations, and service delivery
  • Strategically manage a significant operational and capital expenditure budget, prioritizing investments to maximize business value, mitigate risk, and drive transformational change
  • Foster an inclusive, high-performance engineering culture that champions continuous learning, accountability, and innovation
