Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Structured Finance, Fund Finance, Securitization, or related roles within investment banking, private debt funds, or financial advisory
  • Strong understanding of capital structures, credit analysis, and legal documentation in structured lending
  • Previous exposure to securitization transactions (e.g., ABS, CLOs, portfolio financings) is highly valued
  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or similar. Postgraduate studies (e.g., MBA, MSc Finance) are a plus
  • Deep technical skills in structured lending and securitization
  • Excellent financial modelling and structuring capabilities
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in English; Spanish highly valued; other European languages (e.g., French, German) are a plus
  • Problem-solver with high attention to detail and a proactive mindset

Responsibilities

  • Lead the structuring and execution of fund finance deals including equity NAVs, subscription lines and asset-backed lending transactions to fund Santander clients
  • Work alongside internal stakeholders (Risk, Legal, Capital, Markets) to structure efficient transactions under SCIB's framework
  • Apply securitization principles and structuring techniques to optimize capital, risk, and pricing in lending structures
  • Originate and pitch new financing ideas and solutions to our client base
  • Actively contribute to the growth of Fund Solutions through strategic product development and best practice implementation
  • Support and mentor junior members of the team
