Requirements
- Proven experience in volumetric capture, motion capture, or related virtual production environments
- Strong understanding of camera systems, lighting, 3D capture technologies, and photogrammetry
- Familiarity with volumetric capture software (e.g., Reality Capture, Metashape, Gaussian Splats, or similar)
- Experience managing teams in a fast-paced production environment
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours as required by production schedules
- Fluency in both English and Korean
- Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Computer Graphics, Engineering, or related field
- Experience working on international productions or in multicultural environments
- Passion for innovation in digital media and storytelling
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, setup, calibration, and operation of volumetric capture systems on stage
- Supervise a team of volumetric capture technicians, camera operators, and data wranglers
- Collaborate closely with directors, VFX supervisors, and production teams to ensure capture requirements are met
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure high-quality data capture throughout production
- Manage data workflows, including storage, transfer, and quality control of captured assets
- Coordinate with post-production teams to ensure seamless integration of volumetric assets
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in volumetric capture
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and studio policies
