Requirements

  • Proven experience in volumetric capture, motion capture, or related virtual production environments
  • Strong understanding of camera systems, lighting, 3D capture technologies, and photogrammetry
  • Familiarity with volumetric capture software (e.g., Reality Capture, Metashape, Gaussian Splats, or similar)
  • Experience managing teams in a fast-paced production environment
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required by production schedules
  • Fluency in both English and Korean
  • Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Computer Graphics, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience working on international productions or in multicultural environments
  • Passion for innovation in digital media and storytelling

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, setup, calibration, and operation of volumetric capture systems on stage
  • Supervise a team of volumetric capture technicians, camera operators, and data wranglers
  • Collaborate closely with directors, VFX supervisors, and production teams to ensure capture requirements are met
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure high-quality data capture throughout production
  • Manage data workflows, including storage, transfer, and quality control of captured assets
  • Coordinate with post-production teams to ensure seamless integration of volumetric assets
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in volumetric capture
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and studio policies
