Position Overview

As a VMware Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, management, and support of VMware-based environments across our enterprise infrastructure. This role requires deep technical expertise in VMware technologies, including vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, NSX, vSAN, and related virtualization tools.

Location Type: This role will be fully onsite for about the first 4 months. Following that period, hybrid work is a possibility.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage VMware environments including ESXi hosts, vCenter, vSAN, and NSX.
  • Monitor and optimize performance of virtual environments; identify and resolve issues related to compute, storage, and networking.
  • Implement and manage virtual machine templates, snapshots, cloning, and lifecycle operations.
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions using tools such as SRM and HA/DRS clusters.
  • Apply patches and upgrades to VMware infrastructure in line with best practices and security standards.
  • Collaborate with network, storage, and cybersecurity teams to integrate VMware solutions into broader IT ecosystems.
  • Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
