Requirements

  • Experience in travel and hospitality sector, with expertise in destinations, tourism boards, resorts, and hotel brands
  • Strong background in public relations, strategy, and account management
  • Proven track record in new business development, including identifying opportunities, proposal development, pitching, and client onboarding
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, industry leaders, and decision-makers
  • Leadership skills to oversee and mentor teams of senior, mid-level, and junior staff
  • Capability to represent the agency at conferences, networking events, and thought leadership forums
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid model based in New York, N.Y. office (3 days per week in office)

Responsibilities

  • Support new business efforts: networking, scouting, brainstorming, proposal development, presenting, through agency selection, contracting, and onboarding
  • Forge and nurture client relationships, providing strategic counsel and oversight to account teams across diverse clients (major destinations to small hotels), ensuring delivery against KPIs
  • Manage agency workload and client portfolio in close communication with executive leadership
  • Mentor staff and drive a culture of collaboration and accountability across Orchestra Travel
  • Drive new business growth by identifying opportunities, developing proposals, and pitching to prospective clients
  • Build and maintain relationships to expand network and pipeline
  • Develop and oversee public relations strategies for clients including destinations, tourism boards, resorts, and hotel brands
  • Oversee day-to-day account management, results, and long-term strategic planning
  • Coordinate internal and external teams to deploy integrated services (influencer relationships, strategic partnerships, AI research)
