Requirements

  • 20+ years of experience in tax and treasury
  • Experience at a global tech/high-growth private and public company
  • Proven leadership in IPO processes and public company tax/treasury functions
  • Deep expertise in international tax (BEPS, Pillar Two), transfer pricing, and SEC regulations
  • Big 4 public accounting experience is strongly desired

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global tax strategies (direct/indirect tax, transfer pricing, IP taxation) to minimize risk and optimize cash flow
  • Lead tax planning for M&A, restructuring, and cross-border transactions
  • Oversee tax compliance, audits, and relationships with global tax authorities
  • Ensure IPO-ready tax structures, including SEC compliance and SOX controls
  • Manage global cash operations, forecasting, and liquidity risk mitigation
  • Execute FX risk management and international cash repatriation strategies
  • Develop treasury policies for post-IPO public company requirements
  • Partner with CFO and auditors on IPO tax disclosures and financial reporting (GAAP/IFRS)
  • Model tax implications of public ownership (e.g., Section 162(m), equity compensation)
  • Establish controls for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and public company treasury operations
  • Build and mentor a high-performing global tax/treasury team
  • Collaborate with Legal, FP&A, and Accounting to align financial strategies
  • Advise executive team on tax/treasury impacts of business decisions
