Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and ideally hold a Master’s degree or professional certification such as a CPA or JD. Responsibilities

As Head of Tax, the individual will be responsible for developing and implementing the firm’s overall tax strategy, evaluating current tax processes, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. They will provide tax advice to cross-functional teams, oversee Voleon’s relationships with external tax advisors, and conduct research on complex tax issues impacting the firm’s funds and management companies. Furthermore, they will actively participate in the tax planning of new products, jurisdictions, and the firm’s overall footprint, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
