Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or a related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation, OR Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or a related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation
  • Fluency (conversational & business) in Spanish to manage relationships across Latin America, translate investment documents and conduct meetings with clients and prospective clients in LATAM
  • Four years of experience using MATLAB to modify and edit code to run Monte Carlo simulations on an existing cash flow model
  • Four years of experience conducting portfolio analysis, cash flow modeling and market research for client-specific portfolio updates and portfolio construction guidance
  • Four years of experience presenting complex private equity analyses, investment case studies, terms, market outlook, etc. to existing and prospective clients via live presentations and written communication

Responsibilities

  • Manage a broad set of activities across business development, investor solution design and implementation, as well as investor relations & client service in the Americas, with a focus on the LATAM market
  • Present complex private equity analyses, investment case studies, terms, market outlook, etc. to existing and prospective clients via live presentations and written communication
  • Leverage broad understanding of BlackRock Private Equity Partners’ business and investment strategies in overseeing portfolio analysis, cash flow modeling and market research for client-specific portfolio updates and portfolio construction guidance
  • Collaborate with other teams within BlackRock including client relationship managers, investment professionals, risk, legal, tax, and fund administration professionals
  • Train and assist in the development of junior product strategists
  • Collaborate with both junior and senior BlackRock professionals to design and prepare client communications, content for client meetings, and marketing materials for external and internal use
  • Support the creation and implementation of custom separate account solutions including investment strategy, governance, communication framework, legal structuring, services, and pricing
  • Manage the development and launch of new products in the Private Equity space
  • Prepare and deliver client portfolio reviews including quantitative & qualitative portfolio analyses
  • Respond to a diverse set of client inquiries and manage client relationships on behalf of the Private Equity Partners team
  • 30-40% travel required to meet with and present to existing and prospective clients (international and domestic)
