Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in investment accounting, data operations, or financial systems
  • Proven track record leading and resolving complex operational challenges
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting fundamentals, compliance reporting, and information management
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and talent for cross-team coordination

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate data governance by identifying, tracking, and resolving upstream data issues, working closely with Engineering and Data Management to ensure high-priority items are addressed promptly
  • Support system transitions, including providing input and documentation for ABOR migration requirements and logic validation, and collaborating with Aladdin Engineering to deploy enhancements aligned with regulatory frameworks
  • Perform quality assurance by working with BlackRock teams to enhance control models, identify process gaps, and propose solutions to improve reporting accuracy
  • Drive efficiency by automating metrics reporting using scalable tools such as Snowflake
  • Serve as a liaison among Investment Accounting, Product, and Data teams, aligning priorities and supporting execution
  • Communicate upstream data initiatives at leadership forums and cross-functional meetings
