Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in VAT and accounting (preferably in a shared services or multinational company)
  • SAP/Oracle working knowledge
  • Advanced Excel user
  • Good command of English
  • Fast learner with proactive approach to adopt changes
  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Finance/Tax/Accounting/Economics or certified accountant degree/tax advisor
  • Good command of other European language
  • SAP tax settings skills
  • Experience in SharePoint administration

Responsibilities

  • Prepare VAT returns for multiple jurisdictions in EMEA
  • Prepare standard Intrastat reports, EC Sales List and other VAT related reports if required
  • Ensure accuracy and timely reporting of VAT
  • Perform VAT related reconciliations
  • Participate in transitions to shared services
  • Support other functions in the area of VAT, for example in relation to tax audits and management reporting
  • Cooperate with finance and tax staff as well as external service providers
  • Participate in design and implementing standardized procedures and continuous improvement projects in the EMEA Region
  • Assistance on the ERP systems modifications to reflect changes both in legislation and business transactions
