Ability to work specified hours (Monday-Friday 5:30am-8:00pm; PRN as needed)

Responsibilities

Greet and direct patients and visitors arriving at the facility to their destination while creating a positive image of the organization
Operate guests’ vehicles in a safe manner, ensure they are locked after parking in the designated area
Keep the front clear of vehicles by preventing long-term parking and track count of cars in valet areas
Prepare daily valet parking reports and log incidents; inform supervisor of needs, problems, and activities
Report parking violations to security officer and alert security to crimes or vandalism on vehicles
Physically assist those exiting vehicles if needed due to limited mobility
Determine urgency of situations, calm patients if necessary, and make appropriate referrals
Safely transport patients, employees, and guests on Avera McKennan campus via courtesy shuttle
Operate courtesy shuttle vehicle safely, following traffic laws, lock it after use, and ensure it is clean, clutter-free, and professional
Ensure shuttle vehicle is filled with gas and oil, maintain daily logs, and complete mileage documentation
