Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Psychology, or a related field
  • Foundational understanding of UX principles, usability testing, and design thinking methods
  • Experience or coursework in voice interaction design, conversation design, or HMI design (strong plus)
  • Basic proficiency in GUI design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Curiosity and motivation to learn about automotive systems and multimodal UX
  • Prior experience in the automotive or mobility domain (plus)

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and document the performance, usability, and conversational flow of voice assistants across the automotive and smart assistant landscape
  • Identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for innovation in competitor products
  • Support the planning and execution of user studies, usability tests, and field research
  • Collect, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to uncover insights into user needs and behaviors
  • Synthesize findings into actionable recommendations for design and product teams
  • Create clear visual and written reports to communicate research outcomes and design implications
  • Contribute to the design and prototyping of conversational and voice-driven user experiences
  • Collaborate closely with GUI designers, other UX designers, and product teams to define interaction flows and system responses
  • Work with design, product management, and engineering teams to ensure a consistent and user-centered approach throughout the development lifecycle
