Requirements

  • Knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring systems), product specifications, and seasonality
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale systems, phone, and in-person selling techniques
  • Ability to leverage digital tools, hand held technology, and systems for sales, service, business decisions, safety alerts, product information, and training
  • Ability to operate cash registers, process transactions, track inventory, returns, and special orders
  • Ability to maintain accurate inventory, audit, safety, and compliance standards
  • Ability to complete paperwork, logs, and required documentation
  • Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, standards of ethics, and integrity
  • Ability to collaborate with team members, managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and mentoring skills for customer service and team development

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests; educate and mentor other associates on tools, tasks, and resources
  • Demonstrate expertise in safety protocols, industry guidelines, service standards, equipment, TPMS, product specs, and seasonality
  • Leverage digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve service experience, and elevate associate engagement; adapt to and encourage use of new tools
  • Communicate equipment, tools, and supplies needs to TBC Lead
  • Operate cash registers, process transactions, work hands-on in the physical area
  • Track and monitor returns and special orders; maintain accurate inventory, audit, safety, and compliance standards
  • Report TBC complaints, safety hazards, problems with products, services, and work areas
  • Ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored per company policies; complete paperwork, logs, and documentation
  • Identify member needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve issues and concerns
  • Act as a brand advocate, model high-quality service, develop and inspire team members in a respectful, supportive manner
  • Use Open Door Policy and implement action plans for policies and ethics
  • Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; identify priorities, communicate progress, and recommend improvements
