Requirements

  • Knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), product specifications, and seasonality
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale systems, phone and in-person selling techniques

  • Ability to operate cash registers, process transactions, track/monitor returns and special orders, maintain inventory, audit safety/compliance, complete paperwork/logs/documentation

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales/service requests, educate associates on tools/tasks/resources, mentor new technicians, communicate/develop interpersonal skills for safe/efficient customer service
  • Demonstrate expertise in safety/compliance, tire/battery guidelines, service standards, equipment, TPMS, products, POS systems, selling techniques
  • Leverage digital tools to plan/drive sales, improve service experience, elevate associate engagement, make immediate business decisions on services/safety/products/training, adapt to/encourage use of new tools
  • Communicate equipment/tools/supplies needs to TBC Lead, track/monitor returns/special orders, operate cash registers/process transactions, work hands-on in physical area, maintain accurate inventory/audit safety/compliance, report complaints/hazards/product/service/work area problems, complete paperwork/logs/documentation, ensure merchandise packaging/labeling/storage per policies, identify/assist member needs/purchasing decisions, resolve issues/concerns
  • Act as brand advocate valuing member experience, model high-quality service/products, develop/influence/inspire team in respectful/supportive/team-oriented style, understand/train on roadblocks
  • Implement action plans for policies/procedures/ethics/integrity using Open Door Policy in business processes
  • Complete work assignments/priorities using policies/data/resources, collaborate with stakeholders, identify priorities/deadlines/expectations, carry out tasks, communicate progress, recommend improvements, adapt to change/feedback
