Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of tire and battery services, safety and compliance protocols, equipment operations, TPMS, tire recalls, product specifications, and seasonality
- Expertise in leveraging digital tools, handheld technology, and new products/technologies for sales, service, and decisions
- Ability to supervise, train, and develop a team, including monitoring e-learnings, identifying talent, and encouraging career growth
- Skills in operational management: inventory accuracy, audits, safety/compliance standards, paperwork, staffing, scheduling, and expense controls
- Hands-on capability: operating cash registers, processing transactions, physical work in the area, ordering supplies/equipment
- Collaborative skills: working with other team leaders, managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners
- Commitment to company policies, ethics, integrity, Open Door Policy, and continuous improvement through training and resources
Responsibilities
- Supervise the Tire and Battery Center team to deliver on the business plan, communicate goals, set expectations, execute programs, and adhere to policies
- Model expertise, share knowledge, train the team on processes, new products/technologies, and ensure they have necessary resources
- Leverage digital tools for sales planning, service improvement, associate engagement, and real-time decisions on services/safety/products
- Drive business results, operational excellence, maintain neat/clean/safe work area, proactive planning, order supplies, track returns/orders, staff/schedule, handle transactions, and work hands-on
- Maintain accurate inventory, audits, safety/compliance; complete paperwork/logs/documentation; model member service
- Train/develop team for effectiveness, monitor training completion, identify/develop talent, source new hires internally/externally
- Develop/implement processes by collaborating, analyzing data, monitoring progress, addressing improvements
- Promote compliance with policies/procedures/ethics, guide team application, implement action plans, assist with ethical issues
- Lead/participate in teams: share resources, determine priorities, coordinate assignments, provide feedback/support, adapt to change
