Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of business on the floor, safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), tire recalls, product specifications, and seasonality
  • Expertise in leveraging digital tools, handheld technology, and being an early adopter of new tools for sales, service, and decisions
  • Ability to maintain accurate inventory, audit safety and compliance standards, complete paperwork, logs, and documentation
  • Skills in operating cash registers, processing transactions, and hands-on work in the physical area
  • Proficiency in proactive planning, ordering equipment/tools/supplies, tracking returns/special orders, staffing, and scheduling while controlling expenses
  • Capability to train, teach, monitor, and develop team skills, including e-learnings and career growth
  • Experience in developing, communicating, and implementing processes by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners
  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, ethics, integrity standards, and Open Door Policy

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Tire and Battery Center team to deliver on the business plan, contribute to club success, communicate goals, set guidelines/expectations, execute programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for members, associates, and company
  • Model expertise, share knowledge, train the team on products/technologies, ensure they have necessary resources, leverage learning resources, and attend training/conferences for continuous improvement
  • Leverage digital tools to plan/drive sales, improve service experience, elevate associate engagement, and make immediate business decisions on services, safety, products, and training
  • Drive business results, commit to operational excellence, maintain neat/clean/safe work area, order supplies/equipment, track returns/special orders, assist in staffing/scheduling, operate cash registers, process transactions, and work hands-on to support member service
  • Train/teach team for effectiveness, monitor e-learnings/trainings, identify potential, develop skills for high-quality services, encourage career growth, and source new talent internally/externally
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes/practices to meet business needs by collaborating, analyzing information, monitoring progress, and addressing improvements
  • Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity; explain/guide application, implement action plans, use Open Door Policy, and assist with correcting issues
  • Lead/participate in teams by sharing resources/tools, determining needs/priorities, coordinating/executing assignments, providing feedback/support, ensuring timelines/quality, and modeling adaptation to change/challenges
  • Embrace differences in people, cultures, ideas, and experiences; create a culture of belonging where associates feel seen, supported, and connected
