Requirements

  • Ability to set up and configure various low voltage systems (e.g., security systems, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/video systems, network cabling)
  • Proficiency in running, terminating, and labeling cables according to project requirements and industry standards
  • Capability to perform regular maintenance checks, identify and resolve issues, and fix faults in low voltage systems
  • Skills in providing technical support, training end users, and addressing customer inquiries professionally
  • Knowledge to ensure installations and repairs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations
  • Adherence to all safety guidelines and maintenance of accurate records and reports
  • Ability to evaluate systems for upgrades, perform upgrades, and stay abreast of industry trends and technologies

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the operation of multiple facilities and perform additional assigned duties
  • Set up and configure low voltage systems
  • Run, terminate, and label cables per requirements and standards
  • Perform maintenance checks, troubleshoot, and repair systems to ensure functionality
  • Provide technical support, training to end users, and address customer concerns
  • Ensure compliance with regulations in all installations and repairs
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain detailed records/reports of work
  • Evaluate and upgrade systems as needed
  • Collaborate with technicians, engineers, project managers, and clients
  • Lead/participate in teams to meet priorities, timelines, and quality standards
