Requirements
- Advocate of patient-centered care, adapting to diverse patient backgrounds and medical concerns
- Accurate and consistent in patient care, including counseling, processing prescriptions, and administering immunizations
- Passionate about community involvement, outreach, and events like Wellness Days
- Expertise in pharmacy operations, including inventory control, cost savings, compliance, and using tools/data for community health insights
- Up-to-date expertise to develop, execute, and improve action plans, providing expert advice and guidance
- Ability to build relationships, identify business needs, monitor progress, and adapt to changes
Responsibilities
- Provide pharmaceutical care, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders
- Counsel customers on health care and prescription medication needs
- Maintain confidential information and required documentation for controlled medications
- Listen to patients, develop relationships, and advocate for their wellbeing
- Share clinical knowledge and work to the top of license in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
- Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches and resolving concerns
- Understand the business, including inventory control, cost savings, and compliance
- Use tools, data, and conversations to understand community concerns and stay updated on health issues
- Support implementation of business solutions by building partnerships, monitoring results, and adapting to demands
- Model, enforce, and guide associates on customer service techniques within company guidelines
