Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provides comprehensive patient care by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and administering other Walmart-developed programs
  • Drives sales and profit in Pharmacy and OTC areas through effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, instock and inventory levels, budgeting, forecasting sales, developing cross-functional relationships, and assessing economic trends and demographics
  • Models, enforces, and provides direction on proper customer service approaches to resolve customer needs, complaints, and issues within Company guidelines
  • Oversees implementation of and participates in community outreach programs; encourages Associates to serve as good community members
  • Ensures compliance with Company and legal policies by analyzing reports, implementing loss prevention and safety controls, overseeing reviews, developing action plans, and providing guidance on Company programs and initiatives
  • Provides supervision and development for Associates by selecting, training, mentoring, assigning duties, giving performance feedback, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset
  • Manages Pharmacy Operations, conducts Associate meetings to address needs and share information, ensures alignment with Company and regulatory policies, adherence to procedures for advising, verifying, dispensing products, handling insurance and licensure issues, and documents/shares updates on products and procedures
  • Oversees Inventory Flow by monitoring processes, identifying merchandise to order, ensuring proper execution, and addressing facility problems
  • Manages Finances by demonstrating financial skills, managing budgets, ensuring financial performance alignment, accounting for assets/liabilities/revenues/expenses, complying with financial policies, compiling/evaluating data, and monitoring trends for opportunities
  • Creates a culture of patient care, safety, and accuracy; communicates expectations, holds others accountable for SOPs and quality goals, ensures counseling and documentation on new therapies/items, analyzes improvements, implements interventions for team knowledge, patient safety, and risk reduction; promotes reporting
