Requirements

  • Ability to provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products/services
  • Skills in maintaining merchandise presentation, including stocking, setting up, cleaning, organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing, pricing, and securing fragile/high-shrink items

  • Proficiency operating hardware like cash registers, processing purchases, payments, returns, refunds, exchanges for various membership/payment types
  • Capability to receive/stock merchandise, organize/maintain Optical area, follow procedures, utilize equipment, merchandise, and complete paperwork/logs/documentation
  • Experience selling Optical products/services: assisting with decisions, measuring/adjusting/repairing frames/lenses, completing eyewear/contact lens orders, verifying prescriptions, handling paperwork, collecting payments, performing/recording optometric pretests

Responsibilities

  • Provide Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting the Company's products and services
  • Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking merchandise, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise appropriately, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise
  • Maintain the Sales Floor in Optical area in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages
  • Operate hardware such as cash registers or related equipment, process member purchases, and assist in payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges using appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types
  • Receive and stock merchandise in the Optical area, organize and maintain the Optical area by following Company procedures, utilizing equipment appropriately, merchandising, and completing paperwork, logs, and other required documentation
  • Sell Optical products and services by assisting Members with purchasing decisions, measuring, adjusting, and repairing frames and lenses, completing eyewear/contact lens orders, identifying and verifying prescription information, completing and maintaining paperwork/forms and other required documentation, collecting payments for doctor services, and performing and recording results of optometric pretests
