Requirements

  • Proficiency operating hardware like cash registers, processing purchases, payments, returns, refunds, exchanges for various membership/payment types
  • Experience selling Optical products/services: assisting with decisions, measuring/adjusting/repairing frames/lenses, completing eyewear/contact lens orders, verifying prescriptions, handling paperwork, collecting payments, performing/recording optometric pretests

Responsibilities

  • Provide Member service by acknowledging the Member, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting the Company's products and services
  • Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking merchandise, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise appropriately, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise
  • Maintain the Sales Floor in Optical area per Company policies/procedures by handling claims/returns, zoning the area, arranging/organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink/damages
  • Receive and stock merchandise in the Optical area, organize/maintain the area by following procedures, utilizing equipment, merchandising, and completing paperwork/logs/documentation
  • Operate hardware (e.g., cash registers), process member purchases, assist with payments/returns/refunds/exchanges using appropriate procedures for membership/payment types
  • Sell Optical products/services by assisting Members with decisions, measuring/adjusting/repairing frames/lenses, completing eyewear/contact lens orders, verifying prescriptions, completing/maintaining paperwork, collecting payments for doctor services, performing/recording optometric pretests
