Responsibilities
- Package meat products based on Company specifications
- Operate equipment (e.g., grinder)
- Cut boneless meat products
- Repair and sanitize equipment
- Assist Members with purchasing decisions
- Ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored
- Acknowledge the Member, identify their needs, assist with purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, resolve issues and concerns, and promote the Company's products and services
- Stock merchandise, set up, clean, and organize product displays
- Remove damaged goods, sign and price merchandise appropriately, and secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- Handle claims and returns, zone the area, arrange and organize merchandise, and identify shrink and damages
- Follow all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following Company steel standard guidelines, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations to Management
- Follow Company policies and procedures for preparing, handling, packaging, labeling, and storing food, operating and sanitizing food-related equipment, stocking and displaying food products, and maintaining and cleaning the Fresh Department
- Clean the Meat area (e.g., windows, mirrors, display cases and coolers) while following company procedures, guidelines, and methods, and utilizing approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment
- Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting and thanking members
- Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering any questions they may have
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
