  • Receives, sorts, stages, and delivers merchandise, ensuring prominent display of promotional/seasonal items
  • Processes defective merchandise and follows sanitation/food safety policies
  • Monitors shrink, security risks, and safety
  • Assists with picking and staging club pick-up orders according to policy
  • Handles, moves, and displays goods safely; tracks goods, maintains in-stock levels, and controls shrinkage
  • Uses inventory tools and equipment safely
  • Reports poor inventory practices, low in-stock levels, poor/unsafe conditions, or forklift issues to management
  • Proactively identifies and assists customers with technology services
  • Models and helps others with technology services; identifies and fixes shrink opportunities and problems
  • Properly maintains equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked
  • Embraces differences, creates inclusive workplace culture, and supports team building

Responsibilities

  • Implement related action plans using the Open Door Policy and apply in business processes
  • Safely pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets using forklift
  • Identify priorities, deadlines, expectations; carry out tasks, communicate progress, recommend improvements, and adapt to change/feedback
  • Receive, stock, and organize merchandise/supplies from distribution centers/suppliers throughout facility
  • Correct shelf capacities and complete/retain required paperwork, logs, and documentation
  • Acknowledge members, identify needs, provide guidance/support on self-service technology, assist with purchases, locate merchandise, resolve issues, and promote products/services
  • Maintain facility safety by conducting sweeps, following procedures for forklift spotting, hazardous materials, steel standards, and reporting/correcting unsafe situations
  • Maintain sales floor and merchandising presentation: zone areas, stock/rotate merchandise, remove damaged/out-of-date goods, set up/clean/organize displays, maintain modular integrity, receive/sort/stage/deliver merchandise, display promotional/seasonal items, process defective merchandise, follow sanitation/food safety policies, monitor shrink/security/safety
  • Assist with filling club pick-up orders: pick/stage throughout day, ensure selection/staging per policy, ensure timely picking by Merchandising Associates, perform occasional accuracy audits
  • Report poor inventory practices and low in-stock levels; use inventory tools/equipment safely
  • Operate and maintain forklifts safely; report poor/unsafe conditions or non-working forklifts to management
  • Actively engage customers needing technology help; model/help others with technology services
  • Identify shrink opportunities/problems with products/services/work areas and take steps to fix
  • Promptly fix equipment/product organization problems
  • Create opportunities for associates to thrive, attract talent, build strong trusting team relationships
