Requirements

  • Conducts safety sweeps, follows forklift spotting procedures, handles/disposes of hazardous materials per procedures, follows steel standard guidelines, and reports unsafe situations
  • Properly zones area, stocks/rotates merchandise, removes damaged/out-of-date goods, sets up/cleans/organizes displays, maintains modular integrity, receives/sorts/stages/delivers merchandise, ensures prominent promotional/seasonal displays, processes defective merchandise, follows sanitation/food safety policies, monitors shrink/security/safety risks
  • Assists with picking/staging club pick up orders per policy, ensures timely and proper staging, performs occasional accuracy audits
  • Handles/moves/displays goods safely, tracks goods, maintains in-stock levels, controls shrinkage timely, reports poor practices/low stock, uses inventory tools/equipment safely
  • Operates/maintains forklifts safely, reports poor/unsafe conditions/practices, notifies management of forklift issues
  • Proactively identifies/engages customers needing technology help, models/assists with technology services, identifies/fixes shrink opportunities/problems, maintains equipment, ensures organized/stocked products, fixes problems promptly

Responsibilities

  • Implement action plans related to company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity
  • Safely pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets using forklift
  • Identify priorities, deadlines, expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress; recommend improvements; adapt to change/feedback
  • Receive, stock, organize merchandise/supplies from distribution centers/suppliers throughout facility
  • Provide member service by acknowledging members, guiding on technology, assisting purchases, locating items, resolving concerns, promoting products/services
  • Maintain facility safety per policies: conduct sweeps, follow spotting/hazardous material procedures, adhere to steel standards, correct/report unsafe situations
  • Maintain sales floor/merchandising: zone, stock/rotate, remove damaged goods, manage displays, receive/sort/stage/deliver, process defectives, ensure sanitation/food safety, monitor risks
  • Fill club pick up orders: assist picking/staging, ensure policy compliance, timely staging by Merchandising Associates, perform audits
  • Track/maintain inventory, control shrinkage, report issues, use tools safely
  • Operate/maintain forklifts safely, report issues/unsafe practices to management
