  • Properly zones areas, stocks/rotates merchandise, removes damaged/out-of-date goods, sets up/cleans/organizes displays, maintains modular integrity, receives/sorts/stages/delivers merchandise, ensures prominent display of promotional/seasonal items, processes defective merchandise, follows sanitation/food safety policies, and monitors shrink/security/safety risks
  • Assists with picking/staging club pick up orders according to policy, ensures timely and proper staging, and performs accuracy audits
  • Handles, moves, and displays goods safely; tracks goods, maintains in-stock levels, controls shrinkage timely; reports poor inventory practices; uses inventory tools/equipment safely
  • Operates/maintains forklifts safely; reports poor/unsafe conditions or practices; reports forklifts not in proper working order to management
  • Proactively identifies/engages customers needing technology help; models/assists with technology services; identifies/fixes shrink opportunities/problems; maintains equipment and ensures proper organization/stocking

Responsibilities

  • Implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying policies in business processes
  • Safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets with forklift
  • Identifying priorities, deadlines, expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress; recommending improvements; adapting to change/feedback
  • Receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise/supplies from distribution centers/suppliers; correcting shelf capacities; completing/retaining paperwork/logs/documentation
  • Acknowledging members, providing guidance/support on self-service technology, assisting with purchases, locating merchandise, resolving issues, promoting company products/services
  • Maintaining facility safety per policies: conducting sweeps, following procedures for forklifts/hazardous materials/steel standards, correcting/reporting unsafe situations
  • Maintaining sales floor/merchandising presentation: zoning, stocking/rotating, removing damaged goods, setting up displays, maintaining modular integrity, receiving/sorting/staging/delivering merchandise, displaying promotions/seasonals, processing defectives, ensuring sanitation/food safety, monitoring shrink/security/safety
  • Filling club pick up orders: assisting with picking/staging throughout day, ensuring selection/staging per policy, ensuring timely proper staging by Merchandising Associates, performing occasional accuracy audits
