Requirements

- Conducts safety sweeps, follows forklift spotting and hazardous materials procedures, adheres to steel standard guidelines, and reports unsafe situations
- Properly zones areas, stocks/rotates merchandise, removes damaged/out-of-date goods, sets up/maintains product displays, ensures modular integrity, processes defective merchandise, follows sanitation/food safety policies, and monitors shrink/security/safety risks
- Assists with picking, staging, and auditing club pick up orders according to policy
- Handles, moves, displays, tracks goods, maintains in-stock levels, controls shrinkage, reports poor practices, and uses inventory tools/equipment safely
- Operates and maintains forklifts safely, reports unsafe conditions/practices, and notifies management of issues
- Proactively assists customers with technology services, models usage, identifies/fixes shrink opportunities/problems, maintains equipment, and ensures proper organization/stocking
- Embraces differences, fosters belonging, creates opportunities for associates, and builds team relationships
Responsibilities
- Implement action plans using Open Door Policy and apply in business processes
- Safely pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets using forklift
- Identify priorities, deadlines, expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress; recommend improvements; adapt to change/feedback
- Receive, stock, organize merchandise/supplies from distribution centers/suppliers; manage inventory exceptions; correct shelf capacities; complete/retain paperwork/logs/documentation
- Acknowledge members, identify needs, provide guidance/support on self-service technology, assist with purchases, locate merchandise, resolve issues, promote company products/services
- Maintain facility safety through sweeps, forklift spotting, hazardous materials handling/disposal, steel standards, and reporting/correcting unsafe situations
- Maintain sales floor/merchandising: zone areas, stock/rotate merchandise, remove damaged/out-of-date goods, set up/clean/organize displays, receive/sort/stage/deliver merchandise, ensure prominent promotional/seasonal displays, process defective merchandise, follow sanitation/food safety policies, monitor shrink/security/safety
- Fill club pick up orders: assist with picking/staging throughout day, ensure selection/staging per policy, ensure timely picking by Merchandising Associates, perform accuracy audits
- Handle/move/display goods safely; track goods, maintain in-stock levels, control shrinkage timely; report poor practices/low stock; use tools/equipment safely
- Operate/maintain forklifts safely; report poor/unsafe conditions/practices; report forklift issues to management
- Identify/engage customers needing technology help; assist with services/items; model/help others; identify/fix shrink issues in products/services/work areas; maintain equipment; organize/stock products correctly; fix problems promptly
