Requirements
- Ability to operate forklift following company standards and guidelines safely
- Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and standards for inventory management, equipment use, merchandising, safety, sanitation, food safety, and ethics
- Capability to conduct safety sweeps, follow forklift spotting and hazardous materials procedures, and report unsafe situations
- Skills in using self-service technology, providing member guidance, assisting with purchases, locating merchandise, and resolving issues
- Familiarity with zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, handling defective/damaged goods, setting up displays, and maintaining modular integrity
- Ability to manage club pick up orders, including picking, staging, and auditing for accuracy within timeframes
- Proficiency in completing paperwork, logs, documentation, and using data/resources for work assignments
- Capacity to collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners while adapting to change and feedback
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift to safely pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets
- Receive, stock, organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers/suppliers, manage inventory flow, handle exceptions, correct shelf capacities, and complete required documentation
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding on self-service tech, assisting with purchases, locating items, resolving issues, and promoting products/services
- Maintain facility safety by conducting sweeps, following forklift spotting/hazardous materials/steel standard procedures, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations
- Maintain sales floor and merchandising by zoning areas, stocking/rotating merchandise, removing damaged/out-of-date goods, setting up/cleaning/organizing displays, ensuring prominent promotional/seasonal displays, processing defective merchandise, and monitoring shrink/security/safety
- Assist with filling club pick up orders by picking/staging throughout the day, ensuring proper selection/staging per policy, and performing accuracy audits
- Comply with company policies/procedures/ethics by implementing action plans and using Open Door Policy
- Complete work assignments/priorities using policies/data/resources, collaborating with others, identifying priorities/deadlines, communicating progress, and recommending improvements
