Responsibilities

  • Drive member service by delivering what members love for less and ensuring the club meets member expectations
  • Maintain in-stock levels and control shrinkage
  • Plan bakery productions for consistency in quality and decorative designs
  • Decorate bakery items using various products and tools
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, cold chain, and inventory standards
  • Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
  • Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and enhance associate engagement
  • Drive bakery area performance, including quality/date control, waste elimination, and preparation for seasonal events (e.g., holidays, graduations)
  • Identify member needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve issues
  • Act as a brand advocate, model high-quality service, and interact with associates to understand roadblocks
  • Train, develop, influence, and inspire associates in a respectful, supportive, team-oriented manner
  • Implement action plans using the Open Door Policy and apply them in business processes
  • Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners to identify priorities, carry out tasks, communicate progress, and recommend improvements
