Responsibilities

  • Drive member service by delivering what members love for less and ensuring the club meets member expectations
  • Maintain in-stock levels and control shrinkage
  • Plan bakery productions for consistency in quality and decorative designs
  • Work with a variety of products to decorate bakery items (e.g., flowers, lettering)
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, cold chain, and inventory management
  • Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
  • Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement
  • Use handheld technology for immediate decisions on production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality
  • Drive bakery area performance, including quality/date control, waste elimination, and preparation for seasonal events (e.g., holidays, graduations)
  • Identify member needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve member issues
  • Act as a brand advocate, model high-quality service and products, and value member experience
  • Interact with associates to understand roadblocks, assist in training, develop, influence, and inspire team-oriented work
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards using action plans and Open Door Policy
  • Complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating, identifying priorities/deadlines, communicating progress, and recommending improvements
